KanexPro HDMX44E 4x4 HDMI Matrix Switcher

The KanexPro 4x4 matrix is a high–definition switcher with integrated splitter capabilities for conveniently routing high-resolution video, audio and control signals from any four sources to four independent displays over HDMI or CAT5e/ 6 cables. It includes four separate receivers for extending, switching and distributing high-resolution signals up to 1080p to four remote displays. Cat5e/6 based receivers can extend HDMI signals up to 130ft. (40m).

This HDCP and EDID compliant matrix switcher also provides buffering and amplification for the HDMI signals. It can achieve long distance transmission up to 50 feet (15m) using long HDMI cables without signal loss and up to 131 feet (40m) with Cat5e cables.

The RS-232 port allows full control with PC or touch panels. Four additional IR remotes are also included with IR blasters to control the receivers at all times. The RD-5405 brings Sherwood’s high-performance Audio quality to a new entry-level price point for 5.1 Channel receivers, featuring HDMI switching, Dolby Digital processing, and a total of 300 Watts of power as 60 watts per channel into 5 channel surround, fully compatible with HDTV audio capabilities. High-quality audio in ensured through the use of 192 kHz/24 Bit digital to Analog converters and totally Discrete amplifier stages used for all five amplifier channels, which are rated at 70 watts per channel at less than 0.7% THD.

Two HDMI inputs and one HDMI Output allow for optimal HD source and display connectivity. Audio connections include two digital inputs, five analog inputs and two outputs. For non-Dolby Digital audio sources, Dolby Pro-Logic II processing creates the surround listening experience, with additional synthesized surround options available through five DSP modes. For nighttime and other low-level listening conditions, the receiver has a multi-stage Dynamic Range control. Its quartz PLL synthesized AM/FM Tuner offers 30 presets, and a wireless Remote Control is provided.
