The 79000 is an emitter expansion block for the 79144 or 79210. It features parallel emitter ports that can drive 10 single or 10 dual emitters. Each emitter port contains a series 100-ohm resistor and each emitter & IN/OUT ports are standard 3.5 mm mono mini jacks. Screw terminals provide for wired input connections. The 79000 requires the 79210 power module or the 79144 amplified connecting block.

The D5RH4 4-source, 4-zone digital audio distribution hub with DIGI-5 technology from Xantech provides the ability to listen to 4 different audio sources in up to 28 separate zones of the home, all over CAT-5 wiring for total flexibility and convenience. No need to have multiple audio systems in different areas, just select a source from one of Xantech’s premium in-wall keypads. End-to-end digital architecture means that the entire signal path of the audio system remains in the digital domain from start to finish. This means that noise, signal loss and other unwanted effects are never present. Each keypad contains a 30-watt per channel digital amplifier that allows the user to play music at loud volume when desired. Add 6 zones to the 4 Zone Connecting Block above with this expander. It adds 2 jacks per zone (no additional common jacks are provided, use the common jacks from the 4 zone connecting block). Additional expanders can be added to increase the number of zones in multiples of 6. Please note that noise considerations may limit the maximum number of zones that can be added. (Each IR sensor picks up a small amount of stray IR noise present in the room and when many units are combined the common outputs may start to generate excessive noise) Generally no more than 12 sensors and 17 keypads should be combined in a system.
